Roger Parker, a native of Goldthwaite, Texas, was raised on a family ranch in the Texas Hill Country. He graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in 2001 with a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Economics and Minor in Finance.
Roger began his lending career with the Farm Credit Bank of Texas beginning in the Texas Panhandle before returning home to the Hill Country in 2002. Roger was heavily involved in opening and establishing three new offices in the Hill Country and South Texas. During this time, he managed a loan portfolio in excess of $100 million along with developing a strategic alliance with Cabela’s Trophy Properties as their preferred lender throughout the United States. Since that time, Roger has been involved in ranch acquisitions and refinances in excess of $300 million in California, Colorado, Georgia, Nebraska, New Mexico, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas and Wyoming. He has completed various land appraisal courses and obtained certifications providing him a solid background for understanding market values in Texas and throughout the Southwest. With Roger’s current loan portfolio of landowners and clients located in various areas of the Eagle Ford Shale, he has been able to gain valuable knowledge in understanding current and future royalty income along with discounted cash flows; mineral valuations; production reports; and determining the value of the surface when it conveys with or without minerals.
Roger is actively involved with the family ranches in Mills and Hamilton counties. Roger served as an Affiliate Director for the Texas Alliance of Land Brokers in 2013 and is a proud member and supporter of the Texas Wildlife Association.
A native of Smithville, Texas, Joe Patterson was raised on a family-owned registered Brahman and commercial cattle ranch. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1988 with a B.S. degree in Agricultural Economics. Joe is a recognized expert in ranch, rural property, and country home financing with an emphasis on personal customer service, and came to CNB in 2013 with more than 12 years of experience as a Vice President/Branch Manager at Capital Farm Credit. Prior to CFC, Joe served the Texas agribusiness industry in management and marketing positions with the Texas Beef Council and the International Brangus Breeders Association.
Patterson is actively involved as an affiliate member of several state and area real estate organizations, including the New Braunfels/Canyon Lake Association of Realtors, the Seguin Board of Realtors, the San Antonio Board of Realtors Farm & Land Committee, and the Texas Alliance of Land Brokers (TALB). He served two terms on the TALB board of directors in 2009 and 2010 as the group’s first-ever Affiliate Director, and was honored by that group in 2010 as the first non-Realtor to receive their prestigious Joe M. Cullinan Distinguished Service Award for exemplary service as a practitioner of rural land financing.
Rob Randig is native of Hutto, TX and his two sons are third generation Hippos! Rob was very active in the local 4-H and FFA programs during high school which led to his choice of Animal Science as his major at Texas A&M University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree. He began his professional career as an Assistant County Agent in Tom Green County and then moved into a sales career for 5 years. During this time he received a Master’s Degree from Tarleton State University in Agribusiness/Agricultural Business Operations. Rob's lending career began soon thereafter at Texas Land Bank in Temple and then with Capital Farm Credit in Austin. After almost 14 years of Farm Credit lending experience and over 1,000 loans closed Rob moved to the Crockett Ranch Team in April 2014. He is actively involved in the Williamson County Association of Realtors, the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and serves as a Mentor at Hutto Middle School. Rob currently serves as the Finance Committee Chair for First Baptist Church in Taylor, TX and currently teaches 2nd grade Sunday School with his wife Lori. Rob takes great pride in customer service and has a vast knowledge of all types of rural property financing with specialization in country homes and initial construction loans.
The daughter of a Sterling City, TX rancher, Darcy was raised among cattle, sheep, and goat operations in West Texas. Darcy is passionate about agriculture and has pursued ag lending as a way to give back to the rural community. She graduated Cum Laude from Angelo State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agribusiness and a Minor in Finance. Darcy began her lending career with Capital Farm Credit in Wichita Falls as a Credit Analyst Intern before returning to San Angelo and joining the team at Crockett National Bank.
Lauren Bergin is committed to providing exceptional communication and service to The Crockett Mortgage and Ranch Team's clients and referral partners. Lauren was raised on a family ranch in the Texas Panhandle. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications and Journalism and a Master of Science in Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications. While at Texas A&M, Lauren served as the president of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences student council. Before beginning her lending career, Lauren worked for the Texas Agriculture Lifetime Leadership (TALL) program in College Station, Texas.
